A.J. Minter Continues to Pitch Well out of Braves Bullpen
6 years agoWhile Atlanta Braves closer A.J. Minter was not needed for a save in Tuesday's 10-6 win against the Miami Marlins, the reliever still pitched a clean ninth inning. Minter has filled in admirably in lieu of Arodys Vizcaino's injury. He has only allowed a single run in his last 11 appearances and has grabbed a tidy 10 saves on the year. Vizcaino is expected to be back right around the start of September and should ultimately take back his closer spot, but until then, Minter is a great option for those fantasy managers who are desperate for saves and good ratios.
