5 years agoHouston Texans quarterback A.J. McCarron suffered a thumb injury during Houston's joint practice with the Green Bay Packers and will likely miss the preseason. McCarron's spot as Houston's backup quarterback this season is safe, but the injury does have preseason DFS implications, as Joe Webb will likely have to play extended snaps in Thursday's game. Houston only has three quarterbacks on their roster right now, so unless a move is made before Thursday night to add someone, expect a couple of series for Deshaun Watson followed by Joe Webb playing the rest of the game.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
