A.J. Derby Placed On Injured Reserve
6 years agoThe Miami Dolphins placed tight end A.J. Derby (foot) on Injured Reserve on Tuesday and claimed cornerback Dee Delaney in a corresponding move. Derby had just three catches on five targets for 48 yards and a touchdown in three games for Miami in 2018 as the backup tight end. Rookie Mike Gesicki will continue to be the main pass-catching tight end, but his development has been slow in one of the most frustrating offenses in football.
