A.J. Brown Not Reporting To Offseason Program
3 years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver A.J. Brown is not expected to participate in the team's voluntary offseason workouts opening on Monday. The 24-year-old has been linked to several trade rumors entering the final year of his rookie contract. While refusing to report to voluntary workouts during a contract dispute is not unusual, the rampant offseason movement of high-profile wide receivers makes Brown's decision noteworthy. Brown is one of the most physically dominant wide receivers in the league and made an immediate impact, topping 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons. Last year, however, he spent a stint on Injured Reserve with a chest injury and struggled through a lackluster offense that was missing running back Derrick Henry for half the season. While he only totaled 63 catches for 869 yards and five touchdowns in 2021, he remains an elite option in both redraft and dynasty formats, regardless of where he plays.
