12 months agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown will face off against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13. The 26-year-old has been limited in practice this week with a thigh injury, but there is no indication that he is in any danger of missing the pivotal showdown with the 49ers. Brown was able to find the end zone last week after being held to just one reception in Week 11 against Kansas City. However, he gained only 37 yards on nine targets and was held in check by the Buffalo secondary. Opposing defenses are doing all they can to take Brown out of the equation, but the Eagles' top receiver has a chance to shine this week. The 49ers secondary has had trouble stopping wide receivers this season. They are middle of the pack in points per game allowed to the position but have given up the 12th-most yards and fourth-most receptions. If Brown can shake loose on a reception or two, he could have a massive fantasy performance in a game that should be a relatively high-scoring affair.
