A.J. Brown A WR1 Even Without Jalen Hurts
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown will go on the road to face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 16. While the 25-year-old will be without starting quarterback Jalen Hurts (shoulder) for the first time this season, backup Gardner Minshew is no slouch, and he draws a plus matchup. The Dallas defense allows the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the wide receiver position this season, and Brown already had a decent game against them this season when he caught five passes for 67 yards and a touchdown. He has been the WR2 overall over the past three weeks, and Brown should continue to roll this week. Missing Hurts is a slight downgrade for the Eagles' leading receiver, but he is still a solid WR1 in Week 16 due to the plus matchup.
