1 year agoThe Philadelphia 76ers were one of the obvious names mentioned after guard Chris Paul was dealt to the Washington Wizards. The Sixers are a championship caliber roster that appears to be only one piece away from winning it all. The potential departure of guard James Harden has been one of the bigger storylines early in the offseason. The assumption was that the Sixers would pursue free agent Fred VanVleet or possibly trade for Paul who is stuck on the rebuilding Wizards currently. However, it's being reported that the Sixers aren't pursuing Vanvleet or Paul right now. Instead, the Sixers are focused on bringing back Harden. It seems likely that Harden would be open to returning to the Sixers. However, the length and salary of the deal is probably going to be the biggest issue here. Regardless, it appears the Sixers would prefer to bring back Harden over Vanvleet or Paul.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
