4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers rookie wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (hamstring) has missed the past few weeks of practice after suffering a mild hamstring strain. However, head coach Kyle Shanahan appears hopeful that Aiyuk will be returning to practice next week, which could give him a decent chance to play in Week 1 against the Arizona Cardinals. Aiyuk was a first round pick in this year's draft and has a tremendous opportunity in a productive offense that is greatly in need of receiver help. Fellow receiver Deebo Samuel (foot) is also sidelined and nearing a return while Kendrick Bourne and Dante Pettis are two of the team's top healthy receivers for now.
