49ers, Dolphins Have Made Offers To Joey Bosa
20 seconds agoThe San Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins have each made offers to free-agent edge rusher Joey Bosa in the same relative price range, according to The Athletic's Michael Silver. The former Los Angeles Chargers pass-rusher would receive less than $10 million in 2025 in either scenario. Bosa, the former third overall pick by the Chargers in 2016 out of Ohio State, was a salary cap casualty for the Bolts this offseason because of the fact that he just couldn't stay on the field due to injuries. The 29-year-old five-time Pro Bowler and former Defensive Rookie of the Year managed to play in 14 regular-season games (nine starts) in 2024 in his final season in L.A. and had 22 tackles (17 solo), five sacks, five tackles for loss, 13 QB hits and two forced fumbles. He can still be effective as more of a situational pass-rusher, and if he signs in San Fran, he'd have the opportunity to play opposite his brother Nick.
