49ers Defense A Strong Starting Option In Week 2
4 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers Defense struggled to contain quarterback Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1, but this week they face a much more favorable matchup against the New York Jets. Last week, the Jets committed two turnovers and managed just 254 total yards of offense against a tough Buffalo Bills Defense. The 0-1 49ers should be locked in for their Week 2 game, coming off a disappointing home loss. Expect them to wreak havoc on quarterback Sam Darnold and company. The Jets will also be without lead running back Le'Veon Bell (hamstring) in the game, which will make them even less effective offensively.
