2 years agoThe San Francisco 49ers re-signed center Jake Brendel on a four-year deal worth a maximum value of $20 million on Tuesday, according to a source. Brendel will receive $8 million guaranteed to stay in the Bay Area after the New York Jets also made a push to sign him. The 30-year-old made just three starts in his first four NFL seasons with the Miami Dolphins and 49ers, but he started all 17 regular season games for the Niners in 2022 and will return to that role in 2023 and beyond.
