The NASCAR Cup Series ran the Shriners Children's 500 at Phoenix Raceway on Sunday afternoon, with Christopher Bell backing up his incredible practice speeds from Friday with a late domination at the Championship track.
When it came to Green Flag Speed, Austin Cindric ranked fastest in that statistic on Sunday, but that was because he was caught up in an early-race wreck, so that number deserves an asterisk mark beside it. Martin Truex, Jr. was second-fastest with a legitimate speed (although aided by a late run on newer tires), with race-winner, Christopher Bell, coming in a third-fastest in Green Flag Speed.
All of the top-five finishers ended up ranking 10th-fastest or better when it came to Green Flag Speed for this race. The lowest two were the Roush-Fenway Keselowski Fords of Chris Buescher and Brad Keselowski, who were 9th- and 10th-fastest in Green Flag Speed but finished second and fourth (respectively).
