BALLER MOVE: Target as your QB1 (Current ADP: QB 15)
ANALYSIS: When you hear the stories from so called experts talking about how they never draft a quarterback early, it all boils down to who you can trust in the later rounds of fantasy football drafts. When playing in leagues of 12 teams or less, unless you are getting Peyton Manning, Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers, there is zero reason to prioritize snagging your field general, because the difference between the lesser quarterbacks is very marginal compared to the gap of about 80-100 fantasy points that separates the legends from the boys. With that being said, there is a good chance that you can wait until until the ~90th - 100th pick of your draft to snag Philip Rivers, a guy who may very well end up putting up top 10 quarterback numbers, while improving on his 32/11 touchdown to interception ratio from a season ago.
