PGA DFS Prop Picks for RBC Heritage - Monkey Knife Fight

Tommy Bell provides his PGA DFS prop picks for the RBC Heritage on Monkey Knife Fight. Make your DFS picks with his fantasy golf advice.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! I'm glad my first ever PGA Monkey Knife Fight article was a success for you all, as four of the five prop picks I gave out last week came to fruition, despite Brooks Koepka's lackluster finish to the tournament. Leave it to Jon Rahm to ruin the sweep with a brutal putting performance and missed cut. Let's see if I can make it a perfect 5-for-5 this week.

Using my PGA DFS and betting research for both DraftKings and handicapping, I'll look into some of the Monkey Knife Fight prop bets for the RBC Heritage to see which posted numbers make sense to take a stand on. You can use this advice to place your own wagers on MKF. As always, send any questions, comments, or banter my way on Twitter. You can find me @BellRoto.

Now let's get to some PGA Monkey Knife Fight prop bet picks for the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links!

More Birdies or Better: Justin Rose (+0.5) over Hideki Matsuyama

If there's one player in the world who can get unconscious and make this prop pick look silly, it's Matsuyama. That being said, Rosey looked phenomenal last week coming off the long break and switch back to his Taylormade clubs. I'm going to take Rose to score on more holes here, and hope he gets an early lead on Thursday and Friday as Matsuyama knocks off the rust, particularly with the putter.

More Birdies or Better: Justin Thomas over Rory McIlroy (+0.5)

Justin Thomas is my favorite golfer (disregarding price tags) of any player in the field this week, so I'd take this prop over pretty much anyone at this point. It helps that McIlroy imploded on Sunday in all facets of his game. I obviously don't think Rory is gone for good, and I think he makes the cut here, but I also don't think he can come back and win a tournament after a setback like that. Meanwhile, Thomas was running birdie putts just by the cup all day on Sunday, which I think will translate to a massive performance at Harbour Town this week.

More Birdies or Better: Dustin Johnson (+0.5) over Brooks Koepka

I'll be the first one to tell you that DJ's game is not right at the moment. But I don't think Koepka's is either! The difference is that Koepka was able to save his rounds with some long putts and hole outs to make the cut, while Dustin Johnson didn't quite find that luck. I still think Johnson is the better player of the two, and he should feel more obligated to play well, since his sponsor (RBC) is hosting and he's coming off a MC. It's always tough to know Koepka's mindset for non-Majors. I'll take a tie or better when it comes to scoring between the two talented players.

Birdies or Better: Justin Thomas MORE than 15.5

I don't think you need some in-depth statistical analysis to explain to you why I'm on the JT Train this week. He's fantastic when clubbing down on short courses, he has one of the best approach games in the world, and he can save himself around the green when needed. Let's hope the putting shows up this week in a big way.

Birdies or Better: Webb Simpson MORE than 15.5

I'm very happy that I faded Webb Simpson due to high ownership last week, though I'll admit I definitely did not expect him to miss the cut completely. This Pete Dye design screams his name in terms of course fit and ability. Simpson's putter can't get much colder than it was at Colonial, as he's typically top 3 in SG: Putting. I'm going to bank on the rebound here, and four birdies or better per round is definitely doable for Webb at this track.
