Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning threw for 266 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's win vs the Oakland Raiders. Manning threw his sixth and seventh interceptions of the season, which is one more than than his total for touchdowns on the season. Both interceptions were made by 39-year-old veteran cornerback Charles Woodson, who had previously never intercepted one of Manning's passes in his lengthy career.
Manning seemed flustered at times and failed to throw a touchdown pass for the second week this season. The Broncos relied on their defense yet again, and the defense delivered with three turnovers and touchdown.
Manning owners continue to be taken on a roller coaster ride, as Manning has been very inconsistent thus far. If you own Manning in fantasy, limit your expectations for him. Manning is no longer a lock for a top-five QB, and may not even be a lock for the top ten this season. Manning has definitely shown that he still has some gas left in the tank, but owners simply can't expect the Peyton Manning of old.
