BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 48% of leagues
ANALYSIS: I have built a list of 25 players to potentially write about as WW targets this week, as I do every Saturday. Only one player in that list is recommended as an addition for fantasy GMs doing it in whatever the league is. That's correct. You should be adding Patty Mills to all of your rosters no matter the format/number of teams/etc. you are going against.
It's been eight starts in a row for Patty at the SG position for Brooklyn. It's been nine in a row playing 32 minutes with the exception of his 28 minutes on Nov. 30 in the Gotham Derby. Mills was a fantastic off-the-pine player, but starting hasn't scared him nor lowered his numbers; far from it. Mills is scoring 16+ PPG since Nov. 16, he's hit a freaking 42 triples in the past 9 games for an average of 4.6 (!!!) per game while keeping up a ridiculous 52.8 FG% (yes, from all around the floor including beyond the arc) on nearly 12 FGA.
And Patty is going nowhere as James Harden is manning the point, KD the wings, and Kyrie the couch. With Joe Harris down injured, it's nothing in the path between Patty Mills and a season-long starting-and-producing nod with the Nets. The turnovers are low and he's also logging some 0.5+ SPG. But you know what Patty is all about: scoring tallies, field goal percentages, and triples in bunches.
