BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 4% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: It's taken Parris Campbell a while to take off but that's mostly been because of his injuries: Campbell, still just 25 years old but already into his fourth NFL season, has only played 15 games over the past three years and never more than seven in a single season. Ugh.
This looked like the year of his breakout at least in terms of playing time: Campbell had appeared in at least 67% of Indianapolis' snaps in all first five weeks... while only getting 15 targets in total. Again: ugh.
That has changed in the past two weeks though, with Campbell getting 11 targets in W6 and 12 last Sunday. Campbell, of course, made the most of his chances going for seven and 10 receptions respectively to go with 57 and 70 receiving yards and back-to-back touchdowns. That's what you call production.
Campbell has finished the last two weeks as a WR1 thanks to his huge volume of targets, his near-perfect pass-catching chops, and his scoring prowess. It's not very reasonable to think he will keep up this type of efficiency (not at least in the scoring department) but Campbell could very well go from an under-the-radar to a league-winning player if the opportunities keep going his way. Take advantage while the bug lasts among fantasy GMs still to catch up.
