ANALYSIS: Chicago Cubs outfield prospect Owen Caissie has performed very well in his Triple-A debut and is making the case to be promoted to the major league roster.
Through his first 38 games with Triple-A Iowa, the 21-year-old has posted a .277/.416/.423 line with three long balls and four swiped bags. Last season in 120 games at Double-A he posted a similar .289/.398/.519 line with a career-high 31 long balls and seven stolen bases.

It is very promising to see Caissie immediately perform at Triple-A and not face any setbacks. In fact, he has gotten better throughout the young season. Since April 26, the former second-round selection has a .326/.500/.488 line with an impressive 14:12 BB:K ratio. This upward trajectory suggests that he could be promoted to the major league roster sooner than expected.
Caissie should already be rostered in all dynasty and keeper leagues but is now worth stashing in deeper redraft formats. If he continues this incredible production through May, he may become a must-stash.
