BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues
ANALYSIS: You were almost ready to give up on your fantasy baseball team, but wait, there are still studs like Twins outfielder Oswaldo Arcia available for the plucking in plenty of leagues. This is were we tell you the fun stuff; take for example that your boy Young Oswaldo was a very highly touted prospect, who raked with power at every stage of his minor league career. He is most likely overlooked due to the fact that he plays for the inept Twins offense, but also because he missed some time at the beginning of this season with a wrist injury. Even with his low batting average (.225 or so), this future stud is still hitting bombs at a very healthy rate of once per 22 at bats (not appearances). That rate is slightly better than the one round-tripper per 25 at bat average he posted last season in 341 at bats.
Net, net, bottom line: If you play in a 12 team league or larger, you should consider adding this streaky hitter as your 5th outfielder or utility bat. After all, you don't want to be watching on the sidelines as he finishes off 2014 strong for someone you are trying to beat for bragging rights or a few shekels.
