BALLER MOVE: Stash in Deeper Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: July
ANALYSIS: Toronto Blue Jays infield prospect Orelvis Martinez has performed well in the Triple-A this season and should make his major league debut later this summer.
Martinez was dominant through the season’s opening month with a stellar .310/.370/.643 line. He launched seven long balls and tallied 22 RBI during this span as well.
May was a challenging month for Martinez, as he held a .205/.314/.432 line with six long balls and 18 RBI. However, he has shown signs of improvement with a .236/.333/.545 slash line and five long balls in his past 15 games.

Having spent the majority of last summer with Double-A and finishing the final two months of the campaign at Triple-A, Martinez's 110 games with Triple-A Buffalo over the previous two seasons suggest that he could be on the verge of a major League debut.
If he continues to get how at the plate, then he will become a must-stash candidate in shallow leagues. For now, he should just be rostered in deeper leagues.
