ANALYSIS: It's now been a month of Norman Powell playing nightly for the Los Angeles Clippers after doing so to start the season but going to the shelves between November 29 and December 21. For some reason, though, it feels like most fantasy GMs have yet to catch up with this man's exploits as he's going wildly and undeservedly under the radar these days.

Powell is slowly but surely entering the Sixth Man of the Year conversation, folks. That's only going to make him more prominent as a basketball figure and a fantasy asset. Since returning on December 21, the wing has appeared in 16 games and is averaging 26 MPG. Just in the last two weeks of play (seven games), he's getting even more playing time, clocking in at 29 MPG dating back to January 8.

The Clippers are one of the most glass-bone teams in the Association, so you never know what they'll do with their rotation. Powell has been hella consistent when available, though, playing nightly and contributing gaudy numbers. He's averaging 0.97 FP/min through the season (league average at 0.90) while he's raised the bar to a ridiculous 1.07 FP/min since returning before Christmas.

From January 10 through Saturday night (six games), Powell has put up a nonsensical 1.15 FP/min. Just for context, that's what the likes of DeMar DeRozan, Myles Turner, Anthony Edwards, Jalen Brunson, or De'Aaron Fox are doing this season.

Powell does it all while on the court. He's hitting nearly three 3PM per game since the start of January, averaging a 19-3-1-1 stat line on a nightly basis. He's shot below 36% in just one game in the last 20 days, and below 45% just twice. In that span, Powell has connected on 49.6% of his total 123 FGA.

The turnovers are barely there, too, adding a bonus to his value if you're managing a team in a 9-cat league, and his usage rate above 25% is that of a second-unit leading man.
