The 22-year-old played 35 games in the major leagues last summer and posted a .316/.366/.456 line with three home runs and six swiped bags. He tallied 15 RBI and held an 8:25 BB:K ratio.
His underlying metrics were quite strong, suggesting that he should find similar success when he returns to the diamond. He posted an excellent 46.1% hard-hit rate and 91.3 mph average exit velocity, which were both well above average.
