Miguel Sano was sensational right off the bat in his rookie season, mashing 18 home runs to go along with a .385 on-base percentage in just 279 at-bats. He may not hit 35 HR over a full year in 2016, but the soon-to-be 23-year-old is as proficient of a power hitter as we've seen in years. Sano will be 23 years old for most of the 2016 season, and will only improve as a hitter with more experience facing Major League pitching. The Minnesota Twins have a bit of a logjam, however. Sano, Joe Mauer, Trevor Plouffe and Byung-ho Park are essentially battling for three spots-- first base, third base and designated hitter. Unless one of them can learn to play the outfield -- Sano is the most likely candidate -- it will be tough for all four to find everyday at-bats. Regardless of how this situation plays out, Sano's bat is too valuable to keep out of the lineup, so fantasy owners shouldn't be worried. He is a clear top-10 third baseman on draft day.
