ANALYSIS: Through two weeks of the new NFL season, Nico Collins ranks fifth among all players with 226 receiving yards. He has scored the sixth-most fantasy points among wideouts in PPR leagues.
Against the Indianapolis Colts, Collins caught seven passes for 146 yards and a touchdown, as C.J. Stroud attempted 47 passes. The Texans will likely be trailing in the majority of their games in 2023, meaning the passing volume will continue to be up for the rookie quarterback. Collins looks like the clear No. 1 wide receiver, as reported in training camp.
Needless to say, the 24-year-old will not be available in over 30% of leagues much longer. This is the last chance to get him, and he is the top waiver wire add at wide receiver heading into Week 3.
