ANALYSIS: Kawhi Leonard coined the term "load management". Kawhi Leonard, also, is a Los Angeles Clipper these days. That last thing can also be said about recently-signed Frenchman Nico Batum, who has started all five games for his new team. Batum is not going to command many opportunities on offense, obviously, as Kawhi/PG13 are part of that starting unit. That being said, though, Batum is a low-maintenance player good for GMs in deeper leagues looking for starting players with upside and plenty of playing time.

Go Premium, Win More!Batum is on the court an average of 27.2 MPG while he only gets to finish 11.1 percent of the Clips possessions. While that's a low number of offensive opportunities, Batum is making up for it with great rebounding (6.4 RPG), assisting (3.4 APG), and stealing (1 SPG) numbers. Batum is shooting 5.6 FGA per game, but 3.0 of them are 3PA, which is great as he's hitting 1.2 treys a night.
The numbers don't jump off Batum's page, but he's starting games for a team that load-manages like no other in the league (perhaps the Lakers?) and has a not-often-seen profile in that he's one of only 21 players scoring at least 40% of his triples while attempting 3+ per game and grabbing 6+ boards and dishing out 3+ assist per match.
