BALLER MOVE: Add in 10+ Team PPR Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 17% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: The Titans offense has been ravaged by injuries -- Derrick Henry, Julio Jones, Marcus Johnson and now A.J. Brown. To say that their options are running thin would be an understatement, especially with their top two wide receivers on injured reserved. That leaves the remaining wide receivers Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Chester Rogers, Dez Fitzpatrick and possibly the newly-signed Golden Tate with opportunities to step up.
Based on what we've seen so far this year, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine should now become the team's de facto number one wide receiver starting with this week's matchup against the Patriots. Last week he led the Titans receivers with seven receptions on eight targets for 107 yards. Westbrook-Ikhine could see an uptick in targets moving forward, and heavy volume in the passing game, especially if they are going to be playing catchup against strong teams like the Patriots.
Based on usage in previous games, Westbrook-Ikhine has been the main wide receiver to benefit from the lack of A.J. Brown and Julio Jones in the lineup. I would expect more of the same for the next few games, until the team can get their superstar wide receivers back. While he makes for a riskier WR3/FLEX play this week, he's an ideal waiver wire stash candidate if you have room at the end of your roster or are struggling for some with receiver help during these bye weeks.
