BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 7% of Yahoo! leagues
ANALYSIS: The Rangers recalled infielder Nick Solak, whom they acquired from the Rays earlier in the year, just a few days ago but he has already made a strong impression on his new team.
Solak has started all four games since being recalled, two at DH and two at second base, and he is hitting .357 with a home run, two RBI and four runs scored.
Solak had a monstrous season in Triple-A, blasting 27 home runs with 79 runs scored, 74 RBI and five stolen bases between Texas and Tampa. He should get full-time at-bats down the stretch as the non-contending Rangers try to evaluate their future. Rougned Odor will sit more, and Solak will get some time at DH and possibly in the outfield for the last six weeks of the season.
In 14+ team leagues, I'd be snatching Solak up so that he can provide some oomph for team's heading into a playoff push.
