Nick Chubb, Jerome Ford, DOnta Foreman - Cleveland Browns Running Back Fantasy Football Outlooks

Nick Chubb - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

The Cleveland Browns are one of the most struggling teams in the NFL this year. They have an excellent roster, but due to concerns around Deshaun Watson, the Browns are not deemed as a serious Super Bowl contender.

However, they do have an excellent trio of running backs who could make the job easier for their quarterback. Nick Chubb, Jerome Ford, and D'Onta Foreman will lead the Browns' running game this year, and if the team remains healthy, then the AFC North franchise could surprise many.

Who among Chubb, Ford, and Foreman will be the best pick for your fantasy football team? Let's take a look at each of their fantasy outlooks for the upcoming season.

Be sure to check all of our fantasy football rankings for 2025:

Nick Chubb 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

Nick Chubb suffered a devastating season-ending knee injury in Week 2's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers last year. He underwent surgeries to repair his ACL, meniscus, and MCL, but is trailing in the right direction to possibly start in Week 1.

When healthy, Chubb is one of the best running backs in the NFL. He currently has an average draft position (ADP) of 105, and that makes him a good player to target in the draft. When it comes to running backs, everything depends on their health, but a risk to draft Chubb could be taken this year, as it would be quite shocking if he suffered another serious injury this year.

In his last healthy season, the Browns star had 302 carries for 1,525 yards and rushed for 12 touchdowns in 17 games. Chubb will be the Browns' RB1 this year and could easily have another 1,000-yard rushing season even if he misses a game or two.

Jerome Ford 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

After not playing much in his rookie season, Jerome Ford performed quite well in his sophomore year in the league. In Chubb's absence, the 24-year-old running back emerged as a reliable player for his team and had 204 carries for 813 yards and rushed for four touchdowns. He also had 44 receptions for 319 yards and five touchdowns.

Ford will be the Browns' RB2 this year and will be a good option for using as a flex piece or even an RB2 in case other star running backs get hurt. The 24-year-old running back currently has an ADP of 120 and is worth looking at to fill the roster in the latter rounds.

D'Onta Foreman 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

D'Onta Foreman signed a one-year, $1.29 million deal with the Browns this offseason. He was primarily brought in in case Chubb's recovery takes time; however, if everyone is healthy, the former Bears running back will be the Browns' RB3 this year.

In nine games for the Bears last year, Foreman had 109 carries for 425 yards and rushed for four touchdowns. He currently has an ADP of 195, and it wouldn't be wise to draft him as he could be easily available on waivers if you need him. If Chubb and Ford stay healthy, Foreman's playing time will be limited, and there are other players who could contribute more to your team.
