BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues
ANALYSIS: The Tiger's rookie Nick Castellanos had a very rough start to the season, batting in the neighborhood of .220 for the first two months of the season. In fact, all non-keeper leagues where I owned him in I gave up on him because of the lack of every aspect of his game.
He has since picked it up and improved his batting average to .270 as June finished up. During the month of June Castellanos piled up 34 hits and 10 RBIs which is more hits than he scratched out in April and May combined. While the power we were expecting has yet to come to fruition, as long as the hits are coming the homers will eventually follow, as will the Runs and RBIs. Going forward I have to recommend owning Castellanos if he doesn't cost you too much. He hits in a very good lineup which will give him RBI opportunities other waiver wire pickups won't. His month of June was so promising that I am willing to keep him on my team now barring a 0-40 slump. Keep in mind Castellanos currently holds third base and outfield eligibility in most leagues which is just an added bonus.
