NHL Waiver Wire Adds: 12/04 to 12/10
As I analyze the available players for your team, I will pay close attention to those who have potentially been promoted in the lineup, either due to their excellent performance or because of a teammate's injury.
Additionally, I will consider players who have an advantageous schedule this week, meaning they are facing weaker opponents or playing in favorable conditions. Lastly, I will keep an eye out for players who could be receiving a boost from an injury, whether it's their own or their teammates, as this could increase their playing time and overall performance.
DISCLOSURE: Make sure to monitor the NHL news feeds for the latest player status and injury news.
NHL Waiver Wire Goalies
Elvis Merzlikins
Opponents this week - Los Angeles, New York Islanders, St. Louis, Florida
Merzlikins is rostered in 12.6% of ESPN leagues
Despite the challenging schedule the Jackets have this week, Elvis Merzlikins has been performing exceptionally well lately, making him a promising candidate to consider for your fantasy team. With three potential starts this week, Elvis could provide valuable points to your team and help you stay ahead in the game.

Opponents - Montreal, New Jersey, Tampa Bay, Minnesota
Bjorkstrand is currently rostered in 22.1% of ESPN leagues
I highly recommend adding Bjorkstrand to your lineup. This player not only boasts some impressive stats, including a great shot and the ability to set up his teammates for goals, but he's also a key player when his team is on the power play. Additionally, he's part of one of the strongest third lines in the entire NHL, which is a testament to his skills on the ice. With Bjorkstrand on your team, you can expect consistent performance and a higher chance of climbing the standings.

NHL Waiver Wire Defensemen
Opponents - Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton, Seattle
Middleton is rostered in 19.5% of ESPN leagues
If you're looking for a solid defenseman for your fantasy team, Middleton is a great choice. He's skilled in shooting, hitting and blocking shots, and can even contribute with a goal or an assist. Right now, he's ranked 33rd among all NHL defensemen in standard ESPN scoring, but surprisingly, he's rostered on less than 20% of rosters. So don't wait any longer, add Middleton to your roster as soon as possible!
