NHL Waiver Wire Adds: 02/26 to 03/03
"I am excited to assist you in winning fantasy championships in 2024!"
As I analyze the available players for your team, I will pay close attention to those who have potentially been promoted in the lineup, either due to their excellent performance or because of a teammate's injury.
Additionally, I will consider players with an advantageous schedule this week, meaning they face weaker opponents or play in favourable conditions. Lastly, I will keep an eye out for players who could be receiving a boost from an injury, whether it's their own or their teammates, as this could increase their playing time and overall performance.
For the next two weeks, I will be focusing on players who I believe will be moved to a contender at or before the deadline.

NHL Waiver Wire Goalies
Marc-Andre Fleury
Opponents this week -Carolina, Nashville, St.Louis, San Jose
Mrazek is rostered in 14.6% of ESPN leagues
It's possible that most of the starting goalies who are likely to be traded are already rostered in your league. For instance, players like Markstrom and Saros have been in demand for a while. However, there is an interesting name that you might want to keep an eye on - Fleury. Despite being a veteran, he has been playing exceptionally well recently, having won four of his last five starts. Although he did have a difficult game against the Jets, Fleury is still a player worth considering.
The Wild have been putting up impressive performances lately and are within four points of securing a wild card spot. They may be looking to trade Fleury to a contender for something that can help them in the future. The Oilers, Kings, and possibly even the Avalanche are some of the teams that come to mind.
If you're looking to tweak your team's roster, Fleury could be a great addition. Keep an eye on the situation and consider making a move if he becomes available in your league as I expect him to get 3 starts this week.

Arvidsson is currently rostered in 29.3% of ESPN leagues
Based on reports, it seems likely that Henrique will be traded soon, and the Edmonton Oilers are said to be making a strong push to acquire him. This move would be beneficial for Henrique, as he would likely play in the Oilers' top 6. Despite playing for a struggling Ducks team, he has had a productive season with 16 goals and 22 assists, indicating that he still has energy and potential. If you are a fantasy hockey player looking to improve your team, it would be wise to consider adding Henrique to your roster as soon as possible.

The #Oilers have been linked to two Anaheim Ducks forwards: Adam Henrique and Sam Carrick. Should Edmonton try to acquire both?

NHL Waiver Wire Defensemen
Opponents - Tampa Bay, Washington, Ottawa
Walker is rostered in 7.8% of ESPN leagues
The Philadelphia Flyers are currently holding a playoff spot, but they have recently announced their intentions to focus on their long-term goals and make moves that will benefit their roster in the future. While it's possible that these are just words, it's worth noting that defenseman Walker will become an unrestricted free agent after this season. Typically, teams overpay at the trade deadline for right shot defensemen who can shoot and play a well-rounded game, which is what Walker brings to the table. He has already scored 5 goals and assisted in 16 others this season, and he also has 99 shots, 68 hits, and 89 blocked shots. Therefore, he can contribute to a team in multiple ways. As a Leafs fan, I'm personally hoping that he ends up in Toronto.
