NHL Waiver Wire Adds: 01/22 to 01/28
"I am excited to assist you in winning fantasy championships in 2024!"
As I analyze the available players for your team, I will pay close attention to those who have potentially been promoted in the lineup, either due to their excellent performance or because of a teammate's injury.
Additionally, I will consider players who have an advantageous schedule this week, meaning they are facing weaker opponents or playing in favourable conditions. Lastly, I will keep an eye out for players who could be receiving a boost from an injury, whether it's their own or their teammates, as this could increase their playing time and overall performance.

NHL Waiver Wire Goalies
Peter Mrazek
Opponents this week -Vancouver, Seattle, Edmonton, Calgary
Mrazek is rostered in 10.9% of ESPN leagues
I think it's possible that Petr Mrazek, the current starting goaltender for the Chicago Blackhawks, could be traded to a team that is in contention for the playoffs. While playing for the Blackhawks, he may not accumulate a high number of wins due to the team's current position in the standings. However, he is the starting goalie for the team and is likely to face a significant number of shots, which could result in valuable fantasy points depending on your league's scoring system.
If you have an available roster spot, Mrazek could be worth adding to your team, especially if you need a goalie. Alternatively, if you don't have space available, you can add him to your watch list in case he is traded to a contender where he could perform better and provide greater value to your fantasy team.

Arvidsson is currently rostered in 26% of ESPN leagues
Viktor Arvidsson, the forward for the Los Angeles Kings, has resumed skating this week after being sidelined due to an upper-body injury. He is expected to be cleared for game action soon, and when he does, he will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to any fantasy hockey roster.
If you are looking to gain an edge over your competition, I highly recommend adding Arvidsson to your roster now, before everyone else catches on. He is a proven scorer who has tallied 20 or more goals in four of his past five full NHL seasons.
However, keep in mind that the Kings may work him back into gameplay slowly, most likely starting him on the third line. But, given his talent and experience, it won't be long before he moves back up to the top six and becomes a key contributor for the Kings once again.
So, keep an eye on Arvidsson’s status and act fast to secure him for your fantasy hockey team.
Love me some Viktor Arvidsson.#GoKingsGo https://t.co/PdqVoccFsr

NHL Waiver Wire Defensemen
Opponents - Detroit, Anaheim, Washington
Harley is rostered in 33.8% of ESPN leagues
With Miro Heiskanen out of the lineup due to injury, Dallas has turned to Harley to fill the void on their top power-play unit. As an offensive defenseman, Harley has already shown his potential this season, having scored 9 goals and provided 14 assists. This makes him a valuable asset to consider for your fantasy hockey team, especially if you're facing injuries on your blueline or if you have a deep bench, I believe that Harley has the potential to be a starter for your team every night, not just until Heiskanen returns from injury. With his offensive abilities and increased ice time, Harley has the opportunity to put up some serious points for your team. So, if you're looking for a defenseman who can contribute both offensively and defensively, Harley is definitely worth considering.
