NHL Waiver Wire Adds: 01/08 to 01/14
Happy New Year! Looking forward to helping you win fantasy championships in 2024!
As I analyze the available players for your team, I will pay close attention to those who have potentially been promoted in the lineup, either due to their excellent performance or because of a teammate's injury.
Additionally, I will consider players who have an advantageous schedule this week, meaning they are facing weaker opponents or playing in favourable conditions. Lastly, I will keep an eye out for players who could be receiving a boost from an injury, whether it's their own or their teammates, as this could increase their playing time and overall performance.

NHL Waiver Wire Goalies
Joey Daccord
Opponents this week -Buffalo, Washington, Columbus
Daccord is rostered in 38.9% of ESPN leagues
It appears that the starting position for Seattle's goalie is Daccord's to lose. He has won five consecutive games, conceding only one goal in four of those games. This week, the Kraken will play against three teams they are expected to beat, which increases Daccord's chances of winning at least two more games. Unless you drafted goalies early, it is advisable to add Daccord to your roster as soon as possible. He is the starter for the foreseeable future.

Nyquist is currently rostered in 18.6% of ESPN leagues
Gus is an excellent player who has cemented his place on the Nashville Predators' top line. He is a fantastic pickup for any team looking to bolster its depth. This season, he is averaging two shots per game and just under a point per game. Additionally, he has been a valuable asset on the power play, with twelve power play points so far this season. If you are struggling with injuries or have a deep bench in your league, Nyquist is an excellent option to consider. He is a consistent performer and can be relied upon to start every night he plays. With his versatility and dependability, he can be a valuable addition to any team.
