Welcome to the Daily Fantasy Hockey (NHL DFS) lineup picks article for March 19th of the 2015/2016 NHL season. Each day we'll be providing you with a handful of forward, defensemen, and goaltender picks for DraftKings and FanDuel GPP and cash games.

There are 11 games in total on Saturday with three in the afternoon and eight on the main slate. We will be providing picks for the main slate only.

There are four teams (OTT, BUF, VAN, BOS) playing on back to back nights and two teams (NYR, VAN) playing a third game in four nights.

At this time there are quite a few goalies confirmed starting(Kinkaid-NJ, Howard-DET, Scrivens-MTL, Sparks-TOR, Elliott-STL, Domingue-ARI). Be sure to check LeftWingLock prior to lineup lock to check on all confirmed starters for Saturday night.

NHL DFS Picks for Saturday, March 19th

A couple strategy notes. For cash game construction look for players who can contribute to your score when they are not providing offense. Examples are guys who take a ton of shots, defensemen who block a lot of shots(DraftKings). Also, look for guys who get powerplay time and especially Top 6 forwards. You can find value in players who join a new line due to an injury or just get a promotion and more ice time.

For large field tournaments (GPP's) you want to find payers who have multi point upside and can grab double digit fantasy points. To stack the most upside in your forwards a common strategy is to punt the defense position. This doesn't mean just grab anyone. Try and look for a D man who will be playing more PP time or might get a boost in overall playing time due to an injury.

Let's take a look at some solid plays for today's action.

Roberto Luongo - Goaltender, Panthers (Draftkings - $8,200  FanDuel - $8,700)

He is coming off a big win vs. the Leafs stopping 32 of 33 shots. Tonight's matchup proves huge in the scope of the Eastern Conference playoff picture as the Panthers currently sit in 1st in the Atlantic, nine points ahead of the Red Wings who are hanging on to a one point lead on the Flyers in the wild card. Luongo has faced the Red Wings twice this year, winning both and stopping 64 of 68 shots for a .941 save percentage.

Jason Spezza - Center, Stars (DraftKings - $6,200  FanDuel - $6,300)

The Dallas Stars have once again been hit with a huge injury with the loss of Tyler Seguin for the next 3-4 weeks. This will definitely increase the role of Spezza as he will be thrust into a #1 center role for the remainder of the season. This bump will add even more value to the already solid season he is having. In his last 10 games he has tallied eight goals(four on the PP) and an assist and added 38 shots on goal. His price is about to go up so take advantage of his sub $7K price while you can.

Nikita Kucherov - Winger, Lightning (DraftKings - $6,700  FanDuel - $6,500)

He has spent the last two games skating on the top line with Steven Stamkos and the duo is coming off a big game vs. the Stars. Stamkos picked up two goals while Kucherov added a goal and an assist. The Bolts are currently fighting for the Atlantic Division with the Bruins, Panthers, and Red Wings and get a favorable matchup on Saturday night. While the Coyotes have won three straight games they still rank 28th in goals allowed per game.

Milan Lucic - Winger, Kings (DraftKings - $4,800  FanDuel - $6,300)

This pick has everything going for it tonight. Lucic has been red hot lately with points in eight straight including two multi point games. It won't take much to get up for this one as he will face his old team tonight for only the second time since leaving Boston. In an earlier meeting this season he picked up a goal and two assists vs. the Bruins. The Kings have been scoring at will lately with 24 goals in their last six games while the Bruins have been struggling.

Zach Bogosian - Defense, Jets (DraftKings - $4,600  FanDuel - $4,600)

Once again he will be the top value play at the defense position. He comes in at a terrific value on both sites sitting in the mid $4K range and has been providing an extremely high floor. He has scored in two straight and has points in four of his last five games and has added 24 shots, 22 PIMs, eight blocks and a +5 rating.
