Barrett Hayton- DK $3.5K || FD $4.7K

Opponent - Vancouver Canucks

It may come as a surprise to see Hayton included in this list of options, especially considering that he last found the back of the net on October 30th. Furthermore, the last game in which he took more than one shot occurred on November 26th. You might be wondering, "Goody, why should I consider playing Hayton until he gets his game back on track?" The answer lies in the fact that Utah has consistently placed him on the top line, demonstrating their confidence in his abilities and their belief that he will eventually turn things around. Additionally, in a five-game slate, we have the opportunity to acquire a budget-friendly, low-owned top-line center, and I am always inclined to utilize players in such advantageous positions. By doing so, we can create a favourable scenario for our lineup and potentially reap the rewards as he finds his rhythm again.

Kiefer Sherwood - (DK $3.4K || FD $4.6K)

Opponent - Utah

Sherwood has been a fantastic addition for the Canucks. He has scored 11 goals this season, leads the NHL in hits, and has brought a much-needed element to the team. He should steer clear of the Bjugstad line tonight, which will allow him to create more scoring opportunities.

Have to admit I didn’t expect the Kiefer Sherwood show vs. Colorado tonight.

Cam York - (DK $3.5K || FD $4.2K)

Opponent - Detroit Red Wings

Defensemen priced under $4,000 who have a floor of 2X their price and a ceiling of 5X are exceptional assets in NHL DFS. This is especially true if they consistently block shots and take two or three shots per game. Cam York exemplifies this, as he has achieved the blocked shot bonus on DraftKings in 6 out of 11 games since returning from injury. He will be one of my top value options for defense tonight.
