Josh Jacobs, 63.5 Rushing Yards (LOWER)
Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs faces the Detroit Lions for Monday Night Football. The Lions have been one of the toughest matchups for running backs this season, allowing the second-fewest rushing yards. The Lions also have the second-highest PFF grade for run defense. Jacobs has declined tremendously, averaging 2.9 yards per carry this season with the third-fewest rushing yards over expected. The Raiders are significant underdogs, which could limit Jacobs' touches on the ground.
Jameson Williams, 26.5 Receiving Yards (LOWER)
Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams has been a massive boom-or-bust player through the first few games of his career. Last week, the former Alabama standout had zero receptions on six targets. Lions head coach Dan Campbell is looking for reliability from his players, and Williams has yet to prove he can be relied on in the passing game. Williams could see minimal involvement in the passing game in a game where the Lions should make easy work of the Raiders.
Austin Hooper, 11.5 Receiving Yards (LOWER)
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Austin Hooper has been an afterthought in the offense. The veteran tight end has not received more than two targets all season, which is not likely to change with the emergence of rookie tight end Michael Mayer. Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo likes to hone in on a few targets, with Jakobi Meyers and Davante Adams being the focal points of the offense. Now competing with a younger, more explosive tight end, Hooper could see even less involvement.
Jared Goff, 1.5 Rushing Yards (HIGHER)
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff has rushed for more than one yard in three of seven games this season. With star edge rusher Maxx Crosby coming after him on every play, Goff could be forced to step up and out of the pocket at least once. Rotoballer's Proptimizer tool gives this over a 33.58% edge with a Sharp App projected line of 3.45 rushing yards. Goff only needs a step or two to make this line hit the over.
Jakobi Meyers, 5.0 Receptions (HIGHER)
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers has been one of the best receivers in football, with Jimmy Garoppolo as his quarterback. The duo have connected often, and Meyers has seen double-digit targets nearly every time Garoppolo has been behind center. This week, the Raiders are underdogs by more than a touchdown. The Las Vegas team could be in negative game script for most of the game, leading to more opportunities for Meyers.
Davante Adams, 6.0 Receptions (HIGHER)
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams is one of the best wide receivers in the league, and this could be the week he returns to form. I'm doubling up on Raiders receivers because both are talented enough to produce in this matchup. Adams has been very vocal about his frustrations with the Raiders offense, and I think he will get double-digit targets in this contest.
