NFL Underdog Predictions - Week 15 DFS Prop Picks for Sunday, December 17, 2023

Garrett Wilson - Fantasy Football Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups - rotoballer icon

Week 15 Underdog NFL DFS prop picks for Sunday, December 17, 2023 by Shaun Evans. Use his NFL over/under props recommendations to win money on Underdog.

Happy Friday, RotoBallers! Welcome to our Underdog Fantasy NFL DFS prop picks for the games on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Welcome to our brand new NFL DFS series covering Underdog Fantasy contests! We will continue to focus on the NFL DFS props offered on Underdog called Higher/Lower (Over/Under).

Higher/Lower is traditional over/under DFS prop picks -- whether you think a player will score Over or Under the set lines, and choose your amount. You can parlay multiple picks together to vastly increase the juice (e.g., three picks = 6x your bet). Underdog Fantasy offers some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NFL DFS games. At Underdog Fantasy, you're not playing against other people -- you're just playing against the projections.

Announcement: We have two awesome new Props Optimizers for the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and NCAA! The PrizePicks Optimizer and Prop Bets Optimizer are both available in our new Props Premium Package, which includes exclusive access to RotoBaller's VIP Discord chat rooms for props and betting.

Garrett Wilson, 4.5 Receptions (HIGHER)

Garrett Wilson will receive targets no matter who is under center and he has proven that all season long. Wilson holds a 32% target share on the season while seeing a 25% targets per route run. Now, he hasn't had the most catchable balls as that sits at 68.99% on the season, but he had a 79% rate last week with Zach Wilson back under center. In the past five games, he has hit over five receptions in three of those games.

Getting to face the Miami Dolphins once again, Wilson has a chance to repeat his Week 12 performance. He had seven receptions on 10 targets for 44 receiving yards with one touchdown. The Dolphins rank 14th versus opposing receivers and are coming off of a terrible loss to the Tennessee Titans. Exploits can be found and if Zach Wilson continues to play how he did last week, Garrett Wilson should feast Sunday.

Tommy Devito, 179.5 Passing Yards (HIGHER)

What is there not to love about Tommy Devito? He is a one-of-a-kind quarterback and making New York Giants football fun again. DeVito will get to face the New Orleans Saints defense, which will be a slight challenge. They currently rank 11th versus opposing quarterbacks, but their offense is struggling, which could boost New York. In his four starts, Tommy DeVito has surpassed the 179.5 passing total twice, with one big game versus the Washington Commanders. He also outplayed the New England Patriots defense with 191 passing yards on 17 passes and 25 total attempts.

DeVito comes in with a projection of 202.4 passing yards and 18 completions with 29 attempts this Sunday. With a slight possibility of Darren Waller returning to action soon, this Giants offense could end the season on a high note with Tommy DeVito.

Joe Flacco, 229.5 Passing Yards (HIGHER)

It is 2023 and Joe Flacco is playing very good football, which not a single soul may have predicted. With Deshaun Watson out for the season and Dorian Thompson-Robinson losing his job to Flacco, Flacco has taken the reigns easily. In his two starts this season, he has thrown for 254 yards versus the Los Angeles Rams in Week 13 and 311 yards in Week 14 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has already thrown for five touchdowns and two interceptions while bringing Elijah Moore back to the spotlight. Getting to face a Chicago Bears defense that ranks 21st versus opposing quarterbacks just means he gets to continue his success.

For this Sunday, Joe Flacco has a projection of 247.8 passing yards off of 39 attempts with at least one passing touchdown. Mixing his projection and the Bears' defensive rank, the Proptimizer has him hitting the over at an implied total of -112 (52.83%), the sixth-highest of the game. It's hard to pass up on old man Flacco when he continues to find success week in and week out for the Cleveland Browns.
