Justin Fields, 61.5 Rushing Yards (HIGHER)
Justin Fields has one of the most appealing rushing stats versus the Detroit Lions overall. In four total games since 2021, Fields has rushed for a total of 392 yards on 44 attempts. In his first matchup versus Detroit in 2021, he only rushed for nine yards but since then, he has rushed for over a hundred yards or more. In his most recent matchup versus Detroit, he rushed for 104 yards less then a month ago.
Fields has been scattered this year with the rushing yards and has only eclipsed 61.5 rushing yards once, which was versus Detroit. However, with his history versus Detroit in the past three seasons, taking the over is very appealing and his running capabilities are hard to pass on.
Zach Wilson, 189.5 Passing Yards (LOWER)
There is nothing like getting your confidence stepped on and killed like Zach Wilson has had this year. First, the New York Jets brought in Aaron Rodgers to take over but an injury in Week 1 forced the Jets back to Zach Wilson. In Week 13, Wilson was benched for quarterback Tim Boyle and that did not end well. Now they are giving the reigns back to him in hopes that he can help win some games.
Wilson is projected for under 189 yards and has a -104 (50.96%) implied total of hitting the under. With a defense like the Houston Texans, they have been able to slow down offenses. They rank 10th versus opposing running backs and 13th versus opposing wide receivers. With chemistry and trust being lost in the past week, Zach Wilson may just have one of his worst outings on Sunday.
Kyren Williams, 15.5 Rushing Attempts (HIGHER)
Kyren Williams is a workhorse for the Los Angeles Rams and they both seem to love it. Since taking over the starting role, he has only gone under 15 rushing attempts once and that was versus the Philadelphia Eagles. Since his return from the injury, Williams recorded 16 attempts versus Arizona and 21 attempts versus Cleveland. He holds the entire backfield to himself and has a snap share of 56% on the season. In his last two weeks, he put up 61% and 94%.
With a dominating hand in the backfield, Kyren Williams pops in the Proptimizer. He sits at an implied total of -109 (52.13%) to hit the over of 15.5 rushing attempts. There is very little to say he won't be used, especially to help open up the offense for Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.
