It's at this point in the NFL offseason where rumors begin to heat up. While some of those rumors don't wind up happening, some do. Just a couple of years ago, A.J. Brown's name was rumored to be on the trade block ahead of the 2022 NFL Draft. Then, he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for two picks on draft night.
We could see another star wide receiver moved on draft night this year in Brandon Aiyuk. Aiyuk is in the final year of his contract, and there have been reports of the young wideout asking for a trade.

Will Brandon Aiyuk Be Traded This Offseason?
There have been some rumors swirling around that Aiyuk has asked to be traded this offseason. While his agent has denied those claims, it makes sense why the 26-year-old would want to be moved. He is in the final year of his contract, and the two sides aren't remotely close to a new deal.
There's no doubt that Aiyuk deserves to get paid as a top wideout in the league. He has surely developed into a star and is coming off the best season of his career, totaling 75 catches for 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns. His 1,342 receiving yards were the seventh-most in the NFL last year.

If the 49ers are unwilling to meet Aiyuk's needs, look for the team to ship him before the draft begins. With the 2024 NFL Draft taking place on April 25, San Francisco could move quickly with a deal.
Would Brandon Aiyuk Be A Good Fit With The Steelers?
As the Aiyuk rumors continue to pick up steam, it appears that a trade on draft night is not out of the question. A team like the Pittsburgh Steelers could make a move for the young wideout.
After the Steelers traded away Diontae Johnson this offseason, they have a clear hole at the wide receiver position. That's where Pittsburgh could come into play. They could trade multiple picks to acquire Aiyuk. The team also believes they can get the 26-year-old at a discount, according to Noah Strackbein of Sports Illustrated.
REPORTS: The Pittsburgh Steelers are aggressively pursuing a Brandon Aiyuk trade and the Steelers would be “surprised” if they don’t land Aiyuk.

Strackbein goes into detail and explains that his sources have told him that the "Steelers and 49ers trade talks are real." If a deal does eventually go down, Aiyuk's landing spot with Pittsburgh would slightly hurt his fantasy value. He would go from one of the best offenses in the NFL to an offense that features inconsistent quarterback play in Russell Wilson or Justin Fields.
