Week 10 Running Back Rankings Analysis
About five top-tier options this week. I'm not worried about LeSean McCoy seeing a decline with Sanchez starting. As I mentioned in the QB section, I don't see much of a difference. Montee Ball is practicing this week and may be active but Ronnie Hillman will still start. I expect him to have a big week especially knowing that if he struggles Ball could be back in the mix.Denard Robinson keeps on impressing. Dallas is a pretty banged up at linebacker right now which should help Robinson a lot. He has a great shot at eclipsing 100 total yards for a 4th straight week. If Rashad Jennings returns this week it is a tough matchup vs the Seahawks. That said I think he can do some damage here. He is a low-end RB2 but there is some definite upside.
The Terrance West/Ben Tate battle at RB for Cleveland is a headache that is detrimental to owners of both. They look to be stuck in a total timeshare limiting each other. The hope is that one can break away this week. In Buffalo the hope is that Fred Jackson returns this week. Without C.J. Spiller he'd be a great play weekly. If FJax can't go I like Anthony Dixon more than Bryce Brown but I don't want to touch either.
In PPR leagues I think Darren Sproles should have a solid game. The Panthers allow almost six receptions to RBs per game. Sproles could be looking at 10+ touches this week. Charles Sims is another player with more value in a PPR and he will finally make his debut this week. Keep expectations lowered this week but if he plays well he'll be a great play going forward.
Even though Darren McFadden seems to have the Raider RB job to himself, I can't imagine starting him this week. The Broncos have been absolutely dominant against the run over the last five weeks. No running back has gone over 36 rush yards during that span.
If you are really desperate this week I wonder if LeGarrette Blount could be a solid replacement for a team. I fully expect the Steelers to crush the Jets which means there should be 10+ touches for Blount. I can definitely see a garbage time TD here.
Good luck in Week 10 RotoBallers!
