Week 10 Quarterback Rankings Analysis
Ben Roethlisberger has had an historic two week stretch with six touchdowns in each of those weeks. He can't possible do it again can he? Probably not, but against the Jets another four passing touchdowns would not surprise anyone. I don't see him as an elite QB every week but this week vs the Jets? Absolutely.
I've seen some worries on Jay Cutler and that is understandable. He makes a lot of mistakes, but lucky for owners it hasn't translated to fantasy. He's put up 20 points in three of his last four games and only has one bad game all season. Coming off his bye he should do fine against the Packers. Colin Kaepernick is a guy who did struggle both on the field and in fantasy last week. The Rams defensive line took control of that game. I don't see the Saints doing the same and as long as Kaep isn't pressure too much he'll have a really strong game. For what it's worth, Kaep has been much better away from home.
Cam Newton is another QB who has struggled a lot lately. Last week was inexcusable but he did get a rushing touchdown which saved it from being a truly horrible performance. I still like Cam but I'm getting a bit worried. I expect him to do well against the Eagles Monday Night, if he fails to deliver there, I'm really concerned.
With Mark Sanchez now at the helm of the Eagles with a pretty good matchup he is very startable this week. He has a very good offense around him and I really don't think there will be much of a difference between he and Foles. He is a great stream this week if you need a bye-week fill in. Another QB stepping back in as a starter is Josh McCown and he also has a great matchup. He didn't really show us anything in his first two+ games as a starter so I'm not looking to start him but we'll see what happens here. He does have a talented group of receivers to work with so you could do worse.
Good luck in Week 10 RotoBallers!
