The New York Giants are coming off the franchise's first playoff win since 2011 and with Daniel Jones locked in as the quarterback of the future, it added offensive line and wide receiver reinforcements for 2023.
The G-Men got great value with each of its first three selections and are one of the biggest draft winners on paper.

New York Giants Draft Picks
First Round (No. 24): Deonte Banks - CB, Maryland
Second Round (No. 57): John Michael Schmitz - C, Minnesota
Third Round (No. 73): Jalin Hyatt - WR, Tennessee
Fifth Round (No. 172): Eric Gray - RB, Oklahoma
Sixth Round (No. 209): Trey Hawkins - DB, Old Dominion
Seventh Round (No. 243): Jordan Riley - DT, Oregon
Seventh Round (No. 254): Gervarrius Owens - S, Houston
Deonte Banks was rumored to go as high as the top-15, John Michael Schmitz was the consensus No.1 center prospect in this class, and Jalin Hyatt once had first-round hype as the reigning Biletnikoff winner from the 2022 college football season.
That said, the Giants are one of the biggest winners from the 2023 NFL Draft. The team addressed areas of need but didn't trade up mightily or reach for players higher on their draft boards. Giving the class any lower than a B+ grade would be a disservice.
Giants 2023 Rookie Fantasy Impact
As a true junior, Hyatt hauled in 67 passes for 1,267 yards, and 15 touchdowns. His nuclear game came against Alabama in Tennessee's first victory over the Crimson Tide since 2006. Hyatt caught six passes for 207 yards and five touchdowns against Nick Saban's defense. However, questions about Tennessee's unique, fast-paced offense resulted in uncertain draft stocks for Hyatt and his teammates Hendon Hooker and Cedric Tillman.
While Hyatt may not be a game-changer in fantasy football as a field-stretcher, he should provide "real-life" value to the Giants' offense. New York has struggled to find a wideout who can take the top off of the defense. Hyatt can be that guy. If nothing else, he'll open up the middle of the field for tight end Darren Waller and wide receivers Wan'Dale Robinson, Isaiah Hodgins, and Sterling Shepard.
Oklahoma's Eric Gray has over 3,000 rushing yards on his college resume and could open the year as the RB2 behind Saquon Barkley. Barkley stayed healthy last season, but he's entering his age-26 campaign and if he misses any time, Gray could be a top waiver add as the Giants lead back. For now, he's not a lock to make the roster, but the profile and landing spot carries fantasy football intrigue.
