Happy Friday and Happy Weekend, RotoBallers! While the regular season has come to a close, the good news is we still have 4 more weekends of DFS and betting action during the NFL playoffs. What made the last two weeks of the regular season so difficult for fantasy was not knowing which teams would be playing their starters, as well as teams eliminated from the playoffs no longer playing to win and wanting to get a look at players deeper on the depth chart instead. Now that those variables are out of the way, we can rightfully assume that every coach and team will be trying their hardest to win the game.
We had a chance for this one to be a total barnburner, but unfortunately, Miami quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will be sidelined with concussion-like symptoms. Our thoughts and prayers are with him, as well as Bills' safety, Damar Hamlin has been released from the hospital but is still recovering. Nonetheless, the playoffs can always be unpredictable and we can't completely rule out the Dolphins making this one a game even if it is unlikely.
Here you will be provided with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Bills vs. Dolphins Wildcard NFL DFS showdown slate on January 15th. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. MVP/Captain Plays
Josh Allen - QB, $18,600 (DK), $17,000 (FD)
Key Stats
- 2022 Stats: 4,283 passing yards, 35 touchdowns, 14 interceptions, 762 yards rushing, 7 touchdowns
- 2022 Offensive Pass DVOA: 36.5% (2nd), per Football Outsiders.
- 2022 Opposing Defense Pass DVOA: 12.4% (27th), per Football Outsiders.
As the Bills go, so does Josh Allen. After a tumultuous two weeks since the Damar Hamlin injury, the Bills will arguably end up with a first-round bye in this one after all. Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa did not clear concussion protocol and backup Teddy Bridgewater is still injured, which leaves Skylar Thompson in his stead. The Bills' offense is high-powered and one of the best in football. They are 14.0-point home favorites in this one as well. There is always a chance that Allen could be rested halfway through the 3rd quarter if they are winning handily, but if that happens it means he likely scored you a whole lot of fantasy points.
Stefon Diggs - WR, $15,900 (DK), $15,500 (FD)
Key Stats
- 2022 Stats: 154 targets, 108 receptions, 1429 receiving yards, 11 touchdowns
- 2022 Offensive Pass DVOA: 36.5% (2nd), per Football Outsiders.
- 2022 Opposing Defense Pass DVOA: 12.4% (27th), per Football Outsiders.
There probably isn't anything better out there than a classic Allen - Diggs stack if you want to go big. The two have been an incredible duo this season as the Bills finished 13-3 atop the AFC East. Their offense should be able to move the ball quite easily in this one and the Miami defense has been struggling. Without Tua Tagovailoa starting at quarterback, it will be difficult for Miami to get much going on offense. This should result in a shorter field for Buffalo and plenty of scoring opportunities. Diggs has been great all year and we shouldn't expect anything less in this one.

DFS Flex Plays
Tyreek Hill - WR, $11,000 (DK), $15,000 (FD)
Key Stats
- 2022 Stats: 170 targets, 119 receptions, 1710 receiving yards, 7 touchdowns
A player who is an immediate threat to go the distance with every touch, Tyreek has been one of the fastest players to shoot across your television in the history of watching football. While his range of outcomes are most drastic this week with Skylar Thompson starting at quarterback for the Dolphins if Miami has any chance at staying in this game it is going to come through Hill. He is a dynamic playmaker with the ability to score several times before one can blink. Tyreek is one of the few players out there with the ability to explode and win you a fantasy week all by himself.
Jaylen Waddle - WR, $9,000 (DK), $13,500 (FD)
Key Stats
- 2022 Stats: 117 targets, 75 receptions, 1356 yards, 8 touchdowns
Like Tyreek above, Waddle is an immediate threat to take one to the house at any given moment. Both wide receivers on Miami's offense feature tremendous speed and it's hard not to imagine head coach Mike McDaniel drawing up several plays for them as he knows it's going to take plenty of scoring to keep up in this one. Waddle and Hill have been the league's best WR duo this season and both finished aWR1s's for fantasy purposes. If you think Miami has any chance in this game then it's going to take one of these receivers to do it.
DFS Value Plays
Jeff Wilson Jr. - RB, $7,800 (DK), $10,000 (FD)
Key Stats
- 2022 Stats: 176 rush attempts, 860 yards, 5 touchdowns, 22 receptions, 185 yards, 1 touchdown
Wilson will be penciled in as a value here even though his price is a little bit more expense than values may have been considered in other weeks of DFS. The reason being is running back, Raheem Mostert has been ruled out for this one. When the DFS prices came out earlier in the week it was done so with the expectation Miami would be using a shared backfield. With Mostert out of the way, Wilson should see plenty of action in this one. If Miami has any hope of staying in the game, Wilson will need to be involved to chew some clock and keep the Miami defense off the field. He is an underrated pass catcher out of the backfield and could rack up some points in full PPR formats.
Devin Singletary - RB, $6,800 (DK), $10,500 (FD)
Key Stats
- 2022 Stats: 177 rush attempts, 819 rushing yards, 5 touchdowns, 38 receptions, 280 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
While he has been inconsistent at times this season and has faced competition from James Cook in the backfield, there is a good chance that Singletary could see a good amount of carries. With the Bills set at 14.0 point home favorites, if they are leading in this one there could be ample opportunity for Singletary to see plenty of touches on the ground. In Week 16 against the Bears, Singletary rushed 12 times for 106 yards and a TD. If you would prefer to go with James Cook instead that is perfectly fine as well, but odds are one of these running backs on Buffalo is going to have a big game.
Enjoy your weekend and good luck to everyone with these bets!
