ANALYSIS: It's Week 16 RotoBallers and the only thing we care about right now is bringing home a championship, and hopefully the mozzarella! Just in time for the last relevant week of the NFL season (for non-DFS fantasy football purposes) we get to analyze a great defense sleeper that may help you edge out the competition for the final dance of 2014.
The New York Football Giants are facing off against the 3rd worst team in the league versus fantasy defenses, the St. Louis Rams. The team once known as "The Greatest Show On Turf" has been reduced to a pedestrian offense with a weak quarterback and poor wide receiving personnel. Conversely, the Giants have been playing inspired defense for the past few games as they've averaged 7.5 sacks per game since Week 13 and have put up a total of 38 fantasy points in that span (an average of 12.66).
If you have a tough decision to make and see an opening to snag the surging G-Men off your league's waiver wire for Week 16, we suggest you pounce all over that opportunity and plug them in against a team that is allowing an average of 11.5 fantasy points per week to opposing defensive units. Good luck in your pursuit of a championship and some extra holiday spending cash! Let's bring home the turkey bacon and close the 2014 season off with a true bang RotoBallers!
