The NASCAR Cup Series held the qualifying session for Sunday's Crayon 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon. This qualifying session consisted of two rounds and the drivers were split into two groups. The top five fastest drivers from each group advanced to the second round.
The five fastest drivers that advanced out of the first group were: Martin Truex, Jr., Brad Keselowski, Bubba Wallace, Tyler Reddick, and Kyle Busch.
