It's Week 25. Some leagues wrapped it up this week, so congratulations if you're in a league where you won! If you're still playing these last two weeks out, keep reading and we'll make sure you feel good about your chances. Regardless of your situation, this is the home stretch and working the waiver wire successfully in these next few weeks are key to making a last push in the postseason. Here are some interesting adds that can help you with your season goals.
This year, we're tossing out our old convention of separating waiver wire posts into positions, and instead, we're separating them into of league -- standard, shallow, deep, etc. The NBA is trending to positionless basketball, so we at RotoBaller should too.
For shallow (8-10 team) league adds, we use a general rule of thumb of an ownership rate of under 65% on Yahoo. All position eligibility based on Yahoo leagues.

Shallow League Adds for Week 25
Quinn Cook, PG
Ownership: 50%
8.8 PPG / 2.3 REB / 2.3 AST / .487% FG
I wrote about Quinn Cook the past few weeks as he has been stepping into the starting role for the injured Stephen Curry. At the time, it wasn't clear on how long he would maintain this new role for, but with the news of Curry being out until the second round of the playoffs, Cook has become a must have on all fantasy formats. He has been a consistent starter for the Warriors and he's been contributing across the board for them. With only 50% ownership, it may be time to add him to your team.
With the Warriors current depleted roster, Cook has been a solid start in most fantasy formats. Since the Warriors have called on him to take a larger role for the team, he's been a stud averaging 18.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game on .536% shooting from the field. It's the championship matchup this week for fantasy leagues and the stats that Cook can provide are hard to come by on the waiver wire. He's able to produce in many categories including threes, pick him up and get that much closer to winning your fantasy league.
Trey Burke, PG
Ownership: 42%
12.6 PPG / 4.4 AST / 1.0 3PM / .517 FG%
Last week when I wrote about Trey Burke, his ownership was only at 23%, I'm happy to see it's now at 42% but as we head towards the end of the season, I hope to see him picked up in more than half of fantasy leagues. He has been a pleasant surprise for Knicks fans who gave up on the season when Porzingis went down. He had another career night on Saturday against the Pistons, when he scored 18 points and 15 assists. He didn't shoot particularly well that night but over the course of the past ten games, he's been efficient at .539 from the field.
Trey Burke played the most minutes against the Pistons on Saturday and it seems that the Knicks intend to keep playing Burke 30+ minutes a game as the season comes to an end. In his last ten games, he's averaging 18.3 points and 6.0 assists a game. If your team is in desperate need of assists, I would definitely look at Trey as he has the potential to tip the assists category in your favor.
Reggie Jackson, PG/SG
Ownership 57%
14.7 PPG/ 5.1 AST / .817 FT% / .435 FG%
Reggie Jackson is finally back and healthy for the Pistons after missing a big chunk of the season dealing with an ankle injury. Before he went down, he was a reliable source for points, assists and efficient free throw shooting. Since his return seven games ago, he's averaging 15.0 points, 3.1 assists and 2.7 rebounds. After an extended absence, his numbers have been encouraging apart from the low number of assists. The main issue with Jackson right now is getting out of his shooting rust, as he he has been a liability thus far, shooting .393% from the field.
Jackson had a big game on Sunday against the Nets, where he put up 29 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. He did leave much to be desired shooting 9-22 from the field, but he was an excellent free throw shooter that night going 11-13. If you're in need of a guard that can hit double figures consistently and provide a steady amount of assists, then Reggie can be your guy for the rest of the season. There isn't too many starting point guards available on the wire in most leagues, so if your team is in need of his assets, make sure you claim him.
