Jaren Jackson Jr., 25.5 Points (LOWER)
Memphis Grizzlies forward Jaren Jackson Jr. has become the leading scorer for a Memphis team dealing with several significant injuries, including the season-ending injury to Ja Morant. Morant has been injured for roughly two weeks, and Jackson has averaged 25.6 points per game in that span. The Grizzlies take on the Miami Heat on Wednesday. The Heat are one of the best defensive teams in the NBA, and Jackson will be their primary focus today. I expect Jackson to fall short of 26 points.
Daniel Gafford, 6.5 Rebounds (LOWER)
Washington Wizards center Daniel Gafford is known best for his rim-protecting ability and not for his ability to pull down boards. Despite being 6'10, Gafford averages only 7.6 rebounds per game this season. Gafford will face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. The Wolves allow the fewest rebounds per game to opposing centers. The Wizards center will have his work cut out for him.
Max Strus, 1.5 Turnovers (LOWER)
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Max Strus is having a good season, averaging 12.8 points and 2.6 three-pointers made per game this season. Along with his high-caliber shooting ability, Strus is also careful with the rock. The Cavaliers guard is averaging 1.6 turnovers per game this season. The Cavaliers face the Milwaukee Bucks, who have taken a significant step back in perimeter defense without Jrue Holiday. Strus should lose possession less than twice in this game.
Donovan Mitchell, 31.5 Points (HIGHER)
Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell is having an outstanding season, averaging 27.8 points, 6.1 assists, 5.4 rebounds, 3.1 three-pointers made, and 2.0 steals per game. Mitchell has performed well despite missing key rotation players for most of the season. Mitchell faces the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night. The Bucks have poor perimeter defense, with Damian Lillard and Malik Beasley manning the backcourt. Mitchell should dice up the Bucks defense on Wednesday.
Vince Williams Jr., 12.5 Points (HIGHER)
Memphis Grizzlies guard Vince Williams Jr. has been tasked with picking up part of the offensive load with the loss of superstar Ja Morant to injury this season. Since Morant's injury, Williams has averaged 13.6 points per game. The Grizzlies face the Miami Heat on Wednesday. If the defensive focus is to take Jaren Jackson out of the game, Williams may have more opportunities to shine. Williams has also scored at least 14 points in four of his last five games.
Jalen Duren, 11.5 Rebounds (HIGHER)
Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren is one of the lone bright spots for a historically bad Pistons team. Despite the team's terrible record, Duren has had much success on the glass this season. The Pistons face the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday. The Hornets allow the second-most rebounds per game to opposing centers. Duren has also collected at least 11 boards in three of his last four games. The Pistons center should be active on the glass tonight.
