NBA Underdog Predictions - Today's DFS Prop Picks for Wednesday, December 13, 2023

Today's Underdog NBA DFS prop picks for Wednesday, December 13, 2023 by Josh Costello. Use his NBA over/under props recommendations to win money on Underdog.

Happy Wednesday, RotoBallers! Welcome to our Underdog Fantasy NBA DFS prop picks for the games on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Welcome to our brand new NBA DFS series covering Underdog Fantasy contests! We will continue to focus on the NBA DFS props offered on Underdog called Higher/Lower (Over/Under).

Higher/Lower is traditional over/under DFS prop picks -- whether you think a player will score Over or Under the set lines, and choosing your amount. You can parlay multiple picks together to vastly increase the juice (e.g., three picks = 6x your bet). Underdog Fantasy offers some of the industry's best and easiest-to-win NBA DFS games. At Underdog Fantasy, you're not playing against other people -- you're just playing against the projections.

Announcement: We have two awesome new Props Optimizers for the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and NCAA! The PrizePicks Optimizer and Prop Bets Optimizer are both available in our new Props Premium Package, which includes exclusive access to RotoBaller's VIP Discord chat rooms for props and betting.

Joel Embiid, 33.5 Points (LOWER)

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid is averaging 33.4 points per game this season and has scored at least 34 points in three straight games, but I would bet that streak ends on Wednesday. The Sixers are favored by nearly 12 points in tonight's contest against the Detroit Pistons. I think Embiid plays 30 minutes or less against the Pistons, which would limit his chances of reaching 34 points.

Terry Rozier, 30.5 Points + Assists (LOWER)

Charlotte Hornets guard Terry Rozier has been the engine of the offense in the absence of LaMelo Ball. Rozier has reached at least 31 points and assists in four of his last five games, but he takes on the Miami Heat again on Wednesday. Rozier dropped 34 points and 13 assists against the Heat on Monday, but tonight's contest takes place in Miami. I think the game plan for Miami is to concentrate on stopping Rozier, which could be detrimental to his totals.

Scottie Barnes, 14.5 Rebounds + Assists (LOWER)

Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes has been fantastic this season, averaging 19.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 5.6 assists. Despite his averages, 15 combined rebounds and assists is challenging, given how much his stats fluctuate from game to game. Barnes has reached this mark in two of his last five games. I will take the under on that total tonight.

Brandon Ingram, 11.5 Rebounds + Assists (HIGHER)

New Orleans Pelicans forward Brandon Ingram is one of the driving forces for the Pelicans offense. Ingram is an excellent all-around player who has impressive playmaking ability for his size. Considering his involvement in every play, Ingram will have ample opportunity to rack up 12 rebounds and assists. The Pelicans star has reached this mark in three of his last five games.

Jordan Poole, 16.5 Points (HIGHER)

Washington Wizards guard Jordan Poole has been the definition of inconsistent this season, but he has still managed to average 16.7 points per game this season. After scoring 24 or more points in three straight games to end November, Poole has scored 20 points just once in the last six games. After two down games in a row, I expect Poole to show up in this contest. The Wizards are eight-point underdogs, giving Poole ample opportunity to chuck it from deep.

Duncan Robinson, 16.5 Points (HIGHER)

Miami Heat forward Duncan Robinson is among the best sharpshooters in the league, averaging three three-pointers made per game this season. The season stats do not tell the story for Robinson. He averages 14.8 points per game this season, but he has been on a heater lately. The Heat deep threat has scored at least 17 points in eight of his last 12 games. Robinson is one of the top offensive options on this team, with Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro remaining out.
