Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, 31.5 Points (LOWER)
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been one of the best scorers in the league this season, averaging 29.3 points per game. Despite scoring the seventh-most points per game, SGA may score less than 32 points in this contest. The Thunder are taking on the Golden State Warriors without Stephen Curry and Draymond Green. There is a chance the Thunder will run away with this game, and Gilgeous-Alexander won't need to score as much.
Mikal Bridges, 23.5 Points (LOWER)
Brooklyn Nets forward Mikal Bridges is the team's offensive engine, especially without Cam Thomas in the lineup. Bridges is responsible for carrying the load, but 24 points may be a lot to ask of him in this contest. The Nets take on the Miami Heat, one of the best defensive teams in the NBA for years. In a bad matchup, Bridges could be the main focus of the defense, and he is only averaging 20.3 points per game this season.
Haywood Highsmith, 13.5 Pts + Rebs + Asts (LOWER)
Miami Heat forward Haywood Highsmith has secured a more significant role on the team, earning big minutes in the last few games. Highsmith's main contribution to the team is his defensive prowess. The Heat forward averages 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocks per game this season. 14 combined stats may not seem like a lot, but Highsmith is far from a consistent contributor in any offensive category.
Chris Paul, 24.5 Points + Assists (HIGHER)
Golden State Warriors guard Chris Paul will be called upon to take the offense's reins on Thursday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. In a game where the Warriors will be without Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, Paul will be the primary ball-handler and distributor. Along with his playmaking duties, the Warriors will also rely on Paul to score more, with Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins being the other offensive threats.
Kyle Lowry, 12.5 Points + Assists (HIGHER)
Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry is having a down season, averaging 7.2 points and 4.8 assists to begin the year. Lowry played 15 minutes in his last game and racked up zero points. While that is a frightening stat line, there is some context needed. Lowry collected four personal fouls, including two in the game's first minute. Foul trouble capped his minutes, but Lowry played over 33 minutes in the three games prior. Look for Lowry to get back on track against the Brooklyn Nets.
Dennis Smith Jr., 6.0 Rebounds + Assists (HIGHER)
Brooklyn Nets guard Dennis Smith Jr. has shown the ability to be an efficient playmaker despite low minutes this season. In his last four games, Smith has at least five assists in each contest despite never playing more than 27 minutes. The Nets guard also racked up three or more rebounds in his last three games. With Ben Simmons sidelined, Smith should continue getting opportunities and could play a more significant role.
