NBA playoffs, NHL playoffs, and MLB daily games. This is the time of year in which FanDuel and DFS players get as giddy as Augustus Gloop receiving a golden ticket to tour the Willy Wonka Chocolate factory. So many games and so many options are available that it can be hard to keep up at times. Don’t worry, Rotoballer is here to help you with your NBA playoffs picks so you don’t drown in a metaphorical chocolate river of DFS debt.
We have provided our daily picks throughout the year and we will continue to push hard during this second NBA season. Below are our favorite FanDuel DFS picks for Saturday April 18th, 2015.
Keep in mind, fantasy basketball is a fickle game when it comes to injured players, so be sure to check all lineups prior to tip-off. If you want to chat about your roster picks, check out the DFS chat room at the bottom of this post.

We have only two games to work with on Wednesday night, so if you’re going to try to cash, especially in a tournament, you’re going to have to hit on all of your picks. That could be tricky, as there as some very inconsistent players among the four teams in play. I skipped the value section, because the honorable mentions will include some of my value choices. Apart from that, your pick is as good as mine. Find the guys that will get minutes, and hope for the best. With that being said, here’s who I like most. Best of luck RotoBallers!
Worth The FanDuel Investment
Deron Williams (BKN, G) - $6,400
I’ve been flirting with this pick all day, and I’m still not sure if I’m sold on Deron Williams. He played very well through severe tendonitis on Monday night, and I see no reason why he would play any less Wednesday now that the series is tied 2-2. He is priced in the mid six thousands, and he has the potential to put up another 50 points or more. Obviously, Jarrett Jack is the way to go if Williams is unable to suit up for Game 5. But if Williams is able to play another 40-minute game (46 minutes on Monday), you can expect stellar results at a reasonable price.
Honorable Mentions: Jeff Teague (ATL, G), Kyle Korver (ATL, G), Joe Johnson (BKN, G)
Nicolas Batum (POR, F) - $6,400
Nic Batum scored 27 points on Saturday and racked up 13 rebounds on Monday. Now, if he could only do both of those things in one game. The good news is that Batum has played 42 minutes in each of the last three playoff games. To add to that, Batum is averaging just fewer than five assists in the four playoff games thus far. We know the Trail Blazers will lean heavily on their starters once again with their backs against the wall. While LaMarcus Aldridge is a must-play option at power forward, Batum has the upside to take over the offense as well on Wednesday night.
Honorable Mentions: DeMarre Carroll (ATL, F), Paul Millsap (ATL, F),
Marc Gasol (MEM, C) – $8,400
If you really need analysis for this one, check my last two articles by clicking on my name above and scrolling down. Marc Gasol is by far my favorite center option in this slate.
Honorable Mention: Brook Lopez (BKN, C)
